Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar watch lately. And man, I gotta tell you, it’s a real beauty. Let me walk you through what I’ve been up to with it.
First off, I got my hands on this watch, right? It’s got this “eggshell” dial thing going on, which sounds weird but looks super classy. And the bezel, oh boy, it’s got these 60 shiny diamonds. I’m not usually a bling guy, but it’s subtle, you know? It just catches the light in a really nice way.
Then I started playing around with the functions. This watch has a perpetual calendar, which basically means it keeps track of the date, day, month, and even the year, including leap years. I tried setting it, and it was actually pretty straightforward. I’m not the most tech-savvy person, but even I could figure it out.
- I set the date first, then the day, and then the month.
- The year was easy to adjust too.
- And then I set the moon phase, which was kind of fun. It’s a little picture of the moon that changes as the month goes on.
After setting everything, I just kind of admired it for a while. It’s a really slim watch, only 9.2 mm thick, which is pretty crazy for something with so much going on inside. The case is 39 mm in diameter, which is a good size for my wrist. It’s not too big, not too small. The lugs, those are the parts that connect the strap to the watch, they’re kind of elongated, which I think makes it look even more elegant. The whole thing is polished, so it has this nice shine to it.
I wore it around for a few days, just to see how it felt. It’s really comfortable, which is important to me. I don’t like watches that are too heavy or bulky. This one is just right. I also got a few compliments on it, which is always nice.
What I’ve realized
I think this watch is a good one to hold onto. It feels like it’s well-made, and it has a classic look that won’t go out of style. Plus, Jaeger-LeCoultre is a pretty reputable brand, so I’m guessing it’ll hold its value pretty well. I’m not planning on selling it anytime soon, but it’s good to know that it’s a solid piece.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure with the Jaeger-LeCoultre JLC Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar. It’s a beautiful watch, it’s fun to play with, and it feels great on the wrist. What more could you ask for? I’m definitely happy with it.
