You know, that high imitation Rolex, that two-tone black Submariner, I heard it’s a real hot item. My neighbor’s kid, he’s always showing off his fancy stuff, he got one. Said he got it from some specialty store. I don’t know nothing about these things, but it sure looked shiny.
These young folks, they always want the best, most expensive things. They call it luxury, I guess. This Rolex, this two-tone black Submariner, is one of them luxury things. Big price tag, I bet.

- They say it’s for divers, with all that water.
- But these kids, they just wear it to show off.

I seen it on that internet thing, too. Lots of places selling them. Some say they’re used, some say they’re new. Lots of pictures of that Rolex Submariner, shiny and new. One of them is black, just like my neighbor’s kid has.
These Rolex watches, they’re all over the place. They got different kinds, too. Datejust, GMT, Daytona. Sounds like a race car, that Daytona. But that Submariner, that’s the one everyone’s talking about. That two-tone one. Black and some other color, maybe gold. I don’t know. I don’t really understand what the two-tone is.
This neighbor’s kid, he says these watches are hard to find. Some of them are rare, he says. Like that Daytona one. They say that Rolex Daytona is very very expensive. And they are hard to find. I heard that they use gold. Gold is very expensive.
One shop, I saw it online, it said it was the biggest. Said they had the best prices, the best selection. Free something, too. Maybe shipping? I don’t rightly remember. But if you want one, that’s where they say to go. But I don’t know. They look too expensive for me.
You want to sell one of these Rolex Submariner? I seen a place online for that, too. They say they give you the best value. Whatever that means. I guess they give you a lot of money for it. These watches, they must be worth a fortune.
Back in my day, we didn’t have these fancy watches. We just had a clock on the wall. But these kids today, they need these Rolex things. They say it’s a status symbol. Shows how much money you got, I guess. This two-tone black Submariner. What a thing.

But I think they are too expensive for me.

My neighbor’s kid said that the blue one is more expensive than the black one. He said it is about one thousand more. I don’t know what that means. I don’t know why the blue one is more expensive than the black one.
They say that this Rolex is a good watch. They say that it is an icon. I don’t know what an icon is. Maybe it is a very good thing. Maybe it is the best watch in the world. I don’t know. But it is very expensive.
I saw many many Rolex Submariner on the internet. So many. Some are blue. Some are black. Some are very expensive. Some are just expensive. I don’t know how to choose. Maybe you can help me.
