Okay, so, I finally got my hands on that CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Super Racing watch, the “Original order” one. I’d been seeing it around, hearing people talk about it, and, well, I got curious. You know how it is. I mean, it’s not like I’m a watch expert, but, you know, a guy likes a nice watch.

First thing I did was look at the box. Actually there was a whole set: outer sleeve, outer box, inner box… I opened them one by one. And there were some other tools like instruction manual, hang tag, card holder, Pictogram card, warranty card, strap tool and loupe. This “Original order” thing, they really went all out on the presentation. Made it feel like the real deal, you know?

Then I took out the watch itself. Now, I’ve seen some pictures of the real Speedmaster, the one that went to the moon in 1969. This one, it looked pretty darn close. It had that same asymmetrical case, which I guess is supposed to protect the crown and pushers. It felt solid, too. Not like some cheap knockoff that’s gonna fall apart in a week.

  • I started messing around with the buttons.
  • Pushed them, twisted the crown, you know, just getting a feel for it.
  • They clicked nicely, felt responsive. Like they were actually doing something.

I also noticed it had “Seamaster Aqua Terra 15’000 Gauss” on it. I remembered reading somewhere that this was a nod to some other Omega watch, something about anti-magnetism. I’m not sure about all that, but it sounded cool.

I wore it around for a few days. Got some compliments, even from some guys who I think know a thing or two about watches. They asked me where I got it, if it was real, that sort of thing. I just smiled and said it was a “special edition.”

Conclusion:

So, yeah, this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Super Racing “Original order” watch, it’s a pretty neat piece. It looks good, it feels good, and it seems like it’s built to last. I don’t know if it’s worth the price of a real Speedmaster, but for the price I paid, I’m happy. For now, I’m going to keep wearing it, see how it holds up.
