Is it Worth Purchasing a CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster 38mm? (Honest Review of Fake Watches)

Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing the OMEGA Speedmaster for a while now. You know, the classic Moonwatch. It’s just so iconic, right? But here’s the thing, I’ve got smaller wrists, like around 6 inches. So, the standard size, it’s just a bit too big for me. It would look like I’m wearing a dinner plate on my wrist!

So, I started digging around, trying to find something that would fit better. And that’s when I stumbled upon the Speedmaster 38mm. It seemed like the perfect solution. Smaller size, same iconic look, right? But then I started thinking, is it too small? Will it look weird? Will it still have that Speedmaster vibe?

Looking for more options

Then I thought maybe I could just get used to the manual winding thing on the classic Moonwatch, but honestly, I’m just not sure about that. I mean, I’m not exactly known for my meticulous watch-winding habits. I’ve also heard about El Primero 38mm, which is a good choice, but no bezel at all. I started really spending too much time thinking about this.

Then I remembered, there’s this store in the Dubai mall that sells OMEGA watches. And guess what? They had the Speedmaster 38mm! So, I went there, and they were offering it for around €3,790 after a discount. It seemed like a fair price, especially considering it’s the only 38mm “masculine” model they had. I saw this was the only one that really caught my eye. It just looked so good.

Trying on the Watch

I tried it on, and man, it fit perfectly! It didn’t look too small at all. It had that classic Speedmaster look but in a size that actually worked for me. And let me tell you, this watch is beautiful. The craftsmanship is amazing, typical high level of OMEGA. This watch just combines that old-school watchmaking vibe with a modern design, and it’s not easy to achieve that.

I was sold. I mean, I knew it was a copy, but from what I’ve heard, it’s a really good one. It’s got the style, the quality, and it’s a Speedmaster! But it’s not an investment like the original, which is quite rare and might increase in value over time. You know, limited editions and all that. But for me, I just wanted a watch that looked good and fit well. And the price was right. And let’s be honest, the original is a manual-wind, Hesalite crystal, and black dial. These features are cool, but they might not be for everyone.

Making the Purchase

So, I pulled the trigger. I bought the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster 38mm. And you know what? I don’t regret it one bit. This watch is awesome. It’s comfortable, it looks great, and it’s got that Speedmaster DNA. Maybe the honeymoon phase will wear off eventually, but for now, I’m loving it.

So, if you’re like me, someone with smaller wrists who’s always wanted a Speedmaster, check out the 38mm version. It might just be the perfect watch for you. Just remember to try it on first to make sure it’s the right fit. But from my experience, it’s a winner!
